Caracol is located 21 km outside of Cap Haitien. In 1995, Pastor Payot Jacques answered God's call to plant a church in Caracol. Sticks and mud and a blue tarp may have been the beginnings of this humble church, but less than twenty years later it is now home to a growing congregation of over 400 and a school for 450 children. Caracol Christian Missions, Inc. was founded in 2001 to support and encourage the ministry in Haiti. Based out of Indianapolis, Indiana, CCM Inc is a non-profit organization that provides support through financial contributions, organizing mission teams, and regularly praying for our Haitian brothers and sisters. Through our partnership, God has provided for expansion of the ministry with a church plant in Roche Plate, about an hour up the mountains from Caracol, by Pastor Kenthe Jacques (Payot's brother) It is now home to a growing congregation and a school for nearly 300 children. The gospel is spreading and ground has just been broken on a new church just a few miles outside away from our current site. We are grateful for the way that God has used us to further His work in Haiti.
This new website aims to be a place where you can learn more about God's ongoing work in Haiti. We will share photos and testimony from the mission field, provide information about child sponsorship and financial contributions among other ways to get involved, and notice about future mission trip opportunities.
